My wife is from Chiang-Mai and I always like to travel there; culture, food and nature. Of course my wife likes the beach more so we usually end up in Phuket or Kho Lipe.

It likely depends what those traditional potato chips are fried in, Note. If it's palm or coconut oil, or animal fat, they won't have the rancid seed oil thing going on that most industrial packaged store bought potato chips have.
I chanced upon a Thai hairdresser married to an Irishman. Born in Bangkok she told me, not moving back. She cited that in Chiangmai, she could survive on baht100 daily but not Bangkok. I tried but failed miserably.
Note, you are Thai. Perhaps you can shed light on how this is even possible.
😂 Note's accent is from the south though that's forsure. I speak Isaan so they know I'm from the north. Hopefully I see you guys when I'm in Thailand visiting this month.
