So awesome you got to meet Lek, the founder of Elephant Nature Park! (Or did you? As Iโm watching further into the video I realize thatโs not her) We went in 2015 and did an overnight stay, but she was away in another Asian country advocating for elephants there. She likes to try and teach places that allow humans to ride them that you can still be successful in raising money for your families by operating a sanctuary. Hope to meet her someday! The overnight trip was awesome. I believe she served all vegan food. This was 8 months before I went vegan and the only thing I found โweird/ofdโ was that they had almond and rice milk instead of dairy milk. I didnโt realize they were serving faux meats I donโt think!

This trip would be a dream for me, but I think Iโm too old to keep up. Iโm envious, but so happy for those who get to go!
I went to the Elephant Nature Park! It was the best part of my trip. I loved the people that worked there and that our lunch was completely vegan. Chiang Mai was my favorite! I want to go back. Also, you should look into May Kaidee Cooking school, a completely vegan cooking class in Chiang Mai and Bangkok. I learned so much!

The elephants are sooooo cuuuute. I'm so happy to see an ethical sanctuary take care of them based on their needs, not human needs.
That food looks DIVINE! I can't imagine a full vegan buffet when I'm used to seeing only one or two vegan dishes, if I'm lucky. A buffet sounds heavenly!!!
