Stop making vids promoting Chiang Mai! It was a secret wonderland for escapees from the madding western world but no longer thanks to all these whistle blowers. Besides, I don't like to share and I want to keep Chiang Mai as it is minus the mad farangs. Darn, too late 😮💨😉
I wonder what travel group she was apart of
$800 seems crazy high for a studio or even a one bedroom.
Hi! do you now live in Thailand and have you ever traveled to Chiang Mia?
I’m a solo Traveler would like to stay in Chiang Mai. Can you recommend a good place to stay ?
I love Chaing Mai. It is one of my favorite cities to visit
Been visiting Chiang Mai for nearly two decades and spent well over a year in total time there. It’s a gem – best trail running in Asia and great local people. Dive deep if you get there folks – it’s epic!
We were in Chiang Mai for several days. What a wonderful place to visit. I agree they’re are very welcoming & friendly. We never thought about moving there though 🤔
Great interview and excellent info.
These prices…almost the same as many places in Germany. For Thailand l don't find it cheap
Show us the $200 month condos😮
Travel insurance is not good enough if you’re here long term as a resident. They will look at your stamp. Get a comprehensive worldwide healthcare plan.
Lovely to watch your video. If I can make a suggestion, for viewers not from the US, would it be possible to give prices in TBH as well please? Just a suggestion i hope you dont mind. Thanks again
Normally the Private Hospital charges 500 baht (minimum)per 1 time for doctor fee.No DF charged in Government hospital.
Now to find a remote job lol…
Add me please I plan I be there next month
800dollars are much too high. It is easy to find an apartment around 400 dollars for one bed room apartment. In Bangkok, it is much higher.
Sad that air pollution is so bad over there 🙁
This is my getaway hangout. I love Chiang Mai, especially the Nimmanhaemin area. Enjoy your stay.
🥰 Thank you for your curiosity about our lives in Chiang Mai. We had so much fun connecting and showing you around! ❤🧡💛💚
Nice video. Are there any vaccines requirements needed to travel to Thailand?
Love this ❤! As a Thai living in So cal I just love seeing Americans love living in Thailand, especially in CM. I agreed, CM has that friendly and chilled vibe that attracts diverse people. Wow!! This video made me want to go live there too. Good job and thanks for posting this for us.
Can I ask what is the name of the travel community that Lindsey joined that her traveling to a different country every month?
One downside about Chang Mai is the air pollution from the burning of the fields.
If you only been a place 4 months you are still
In honeymoon stage. Give yourself a couple years.
Saw you guys in the hotel lounge in Bangkok last week but I didn't want to bother you as you looked tired.
Welcome to Chiangmai the best spot in Thailand.
Unfortunately, it's become over commercialized and crowded. However, the areas outside the city are beautiful and peaceful and off the tourist track.
Thanks! It will be very interesting to have the same sort of video but with a family !!! ❤
you need to mention burning season when talking about Chiang Mai. Don't wanna be the negative guy but for me it is unbearable. Its not a place to be all year long. Other than that spot on.
Regarding health insurance, I wonder what people do if they need to return to US for an emergency, like a death in the family? Most travel insurance does not cover you in the country your passport is from. Do they carry US insurance as well? Do they take the risk? (That seems like a dangerous risk)
I’ve been retired in Chiang Mai for 8 years and not one single day goes by that I don’t thank my lucky stars for being in this place!! Note: they mentioned they pay $800/month for their one bedroom. This is astonishingly high!! I live in one of the (arguably) top luxury condos here in Chiang Mai and for my one bedroom I am paying HALF of what they pay. Also – someone else here asked about the bug situation here – and after 8 years I can positively say i have encountered FAR FEWER bugs here than in Texas. Far fewer!!
Let me add this after seeing comments about the safety of the street food. After 8 years of eating street food almost daily we have experienced ZERO problems. NONE. There are a number of reasons as to why street food (in Thailand in general) is so safe – but go online to get this.
My daughter moved to chiang mai a few months ago.
😮 this was so fun to share about our experience and spend a bit of time with you all! Thank you for a great day🙏
Great video. That city comes up a lot when people talk about living in Asia. Did they talk about any language issues? Thanks for the video.
Love chiang mai
I loved Chiang Mai! Northern Thailand is spectacular.
Chiang Mai is my most favorite Thai city of all time. It's such a charming, relaxing place, and it is also the best to explore nature. The cost of living is much cheaper than Bangkok and the food is not far behind. And if you miss Western food, there are a lot of western style restaurants as well and so many great cafes and dessert shops 😊
Try Philippines next time
Great tips guys 👍🏿💯✈️
So happy for them! I love Thailand. Good food, culture and beaches wow! It’s on my list to visit one day behind Lisbon.
Love Love Love this video. Thanks guys. Looks like the VIBE. 💘What Michael said MM 2:45-325 'I JUST wanna live somewhere where I can be KIND to other people AND the locals Welcoming & don't think I came to take over their land & RAISE THEIR RENT. 👏💯🔥👌🏾❤👏🏽💝💝💝💝
How did they get the permanent visa ?
