CHIANG MAI TREKKING 🌿 Hidden Jungle Hill Tribe Villages, Rice Terraces & Bamboo Rafting
This is the second video in our series about the best hidden villages of Chiang Mai. We’re going off the beaten path AGAIN, exploring authentic hill tribe villages, remote rice terraces, and some seriously wild jungle adventures.
We started our trek deep in the Mae Taeng jungle, Chiang Mai, reaching a hidden Lahu hill tribe village that you can only get to by trekking or wild bamboo rafting (we did both). No roads, no tourists — just amazing nature and local life. 🐾
In the village, we hung out with the local kids, stayed in a cozy homestay, enjoyed Thai BBQ (Moo Ka ta), played guitar, and yes… we had to try Thai whiskey too. 🍻 The next morning we went bamboo rafting down a wild river in the rainy season — it was hands down the craziest adventures we’ve ever had!
This series is all about uncovering Chiang Mai’s hidden gems, and in the next video we’ll explore even more remote villages, rice terraces, waterfalls, and the best trekking options in Northern Thailand.
