Hey I’m from chiang mai and it might flood but my house flooded last year also so I’m a bit nervous

Where was it you saw that big a** snake last year in the park by the trash skid? Was that at that closed out park or something different? Didn't that come about because it was washed down the river? I only mention it because, aside from the obv heavy current, seems risky to be wading in that water under the bridge like that guy was. Heaven knows what'll come up and kiss your ankles.

Last years was certainly the worst I've seen in my 19 years of living here. Around 2014 was bad and before that around 2004 when I was here on Hols.
But last year was way the worse for sure. I saw water on Loi Kroh about 20 metres from the moat…..Loi Kroh does rise a bit there at the last bit but still, another metre or so and that would be the whole old city gone as it's all flat from there.
I've never seen flooding this time of year before. Scary stuff for those folks in the zone.

In 2017 I don't remember heavy rains. Got around ok. But one time a Thai lady that I didn't know lent me a umbrella during a storm. I returned it later. Thais are nice.
