Chiang Mai is a city of constant change, so I’m curious to see what’s new and how things have evolved. Is the city bouncing back to its pre-pandemic vibrancy? Are the familiar sights and sounds still there? Have new hotspots emerged?
Let’s walk and chat as we soak in the atmosphere. We’ll experience the early stirrings of the night market, watch the vendors set up their stalls, and feel the energy of Loi Kroh as it comes alive. I’ll share my thoughts on how Chiang Mai feels in 2025 and we can discuss how it compares to previous years.

Night market about me. Wife went crazy there when we live there for a couple years. Sad thing is most its packed away in the garage 🤦🏼♂️. She did get some good gifts for the family i guess. But like say keep walking!!! Lol

Don't stay at the Erawan and if you own, sell. It's a sonic nightmare – the CNX club just East plays cement-shaking subwoofer music until 04:00 EVERY night. Bad rock music from all sides into the wee hours, no shelter to block the noise, dead empty buildings all around. Just a bad place.
Traffic…shops…eateries…markets…art etc…same as any other city centre.
Wayne, you should do a vid in the TREEHOUSE POT SHOP….. the owner is a young guy, Steve, one of your fellow countrymen, but a real switched on gentleman, articulate, knowledgeable, businessman, got some great stories….. just saying

I’ve loved every city ive spent time in, in Thailand except Chaing Mai. After two days of bad food and drinks my thought was this is the Niagra Falls of Thailand, and that is not a complement. Cutting my visit from 30 days down to 7.

Hi Wayne, quick question if you are possibly able to answer, based on your currently following/views on Youtube, are you making enough to live on that alone? I'm considering making a jump and maybe just trying to hammer it for a year and see where it goes (I understand in most cases its going to take longer than a year) but on the back of that, was you earning anything from Youtube after 1 year? Have travelled Thailand fairly often and at a big of a loose end these days, I'd intend to save around 12 months of cash before making the jump.

if you are in chaingmai i very recommend go to eat ไก่ทอดเที่ยงคืนกำแพงดิน it a small Fried Crispy Pork shop it the best thing i ever eat in my life the best is Fried Crispy Pork and Deep fried pork intestines it locate in downtown of chaingmai you can ask someone it well known ไก่ทอดเที่ยงคืนกำแพงดิน

Can't say I ever get a good feeling watching an old farang with a young Thai girl. Having taught at girl's colleges most of my life, to me it's just stealing the girl's youth. Kids deserve to have a childhood, not being a toy of some old guy.

used to get a thai massage weekly here in the netherlands , haven done that in a while as i cannot afford it no more and my favorite place has stopped (owner retired)
after covid things havent been the same during the few times i did tried a massage

been emailing a few but dont get real answers , im having a hard time finding confection size bib overals that fit me and are of a reasonably quality the garhartts are good but pricey
there was a period where the police cracked down on imitation goods , aspecally watches bags and shoes guess they slackened off again
looks like a good market , seen some things on youre video i hadnt seen during my last visit
