I am glad it's over but with the smoke we did not hang out too much. But only saw a handful of Western people in Chiang Rai which I love as it's a strictly Thai and gentle and respectful celebration. But the smoke is so dangerous your eyes sting and after awhile your mouth is dry but today Monday its a little better because of a little rain last night. Thanks Wayne.

For a few days, the streets look nice and clean because of all the water washing them. Oh, I LOVE Payod! It's like the only veg place I go (except the old Pun Pun behind Wat Suandok) Love Shan State food or any "Burmese"! Yeah; my wife and I will go check out the 2nd hand places after eating at Payod too.
