Thanks for this. I get so tired of anti-Chiang Mai videos and why not to retire there. I am a 64 year old disabled USAF Veteran and I am married to a lovely 50 year old Thai woman. We have lived in the Philippines for 1.5 years and are trying our hardest to get back to Chiang Mai. My wife is from there and graduated as an English Major there. I need specialized health care , the PIs is terrible and scary, and Thailand's is World Class! Plus my wifes is free! 😉 I cannot wait to get back to the "Land of Smiles"… 🙂 Thanks again!
