  1. That Dukes' food looks amazing. Nice to see some night scenes. So much to see and do there. I hear it is the safest city in Thailand. Great video, felt I was walking with you all.

  2. How funny. I get a pizza from The Dukes about once a week as take away (live close by), and take it down to eat with my partner in Pantip, near where you were at the Hard Rock, Night Bazaar, etc. I'm down in that area almost every night. 👍

  3. Chuck, This area looks like it has a lot to do as far as food and shopping. I'll be in Chiang Mai late October. I'm looking to stay in an area like this, do you recommend it?

  4. Hey Chuck/Paige.Really like it when you go to the smaller interesting places 🙂 Im a temple man myself (100's of pics). Went to Thailand in '19 just before Covid. Your vids of the North bought back many memories. Did the touristy/market things in Chang Mai as well as the Zoo (world class). Travelled 6000 km to see a koala at the Zoo and listen to a didgeridoo player at the Markets….lol. You should goto the Black temple in Chang Rai. Its mindblowing.

  5. Hi Chuck, Paige another great video. good to see Mitch and Doa. I will be in Chaing Mai to visit my lovely Thai girlfriend later this year and hopefully make it my home. Thanks again for sharing your everyday life.

  6. I have bad memories of chiang mai. I was there for a 7 day stay it rained hard every day all I could do was grab an umbrella and go get something to eat and go back to the hotel and watch Netflix.

  7. By the way-I don’t know if you knew it – that Dukes restaurant you ate at by the river is where Sylvester Stallone would go to eat when he was here making one of the Rambo movies years ago.

  8. Pok Pok. It was a Michelin star Thai restaurant. The original Pok Pok was opened here, Portland. I believe the chef, Andy Ricker, now lives in Chang Mai. His restaurant was unique. The space felt like being at a Thai roadside eatery even on a cold rainy Portland day.

  9. We stayed at the Duangtawan the first time we visited Thailand in 2022. Exploring it we found the ballroom which was beautiful, as was the pool. Breakfast was Halal so turkey bacon etc. The Hard Rock was closed for Covid then. Baan Kang Wat looks like a cool area.

  10. I stayed at Raming Lodge cuz you stayed there once and I really liked it. Welcome Inn was my go to restaurant. I'm going again in October and looking forward to trying the Tiki Thai Bar! I plan on staying at Raming a few days and looking for a hotel near Warm Up Cafe or Zoe in Yellow. Have you stayed at a hotel near either nightclub?

  11. Your hotel seems to translate to Sun Hotel, according to one translate app. Just saying
The Oz camels are also very healty. The fetch a premium when sold to the Middle East..
