This was my 10th Songkran living here, and honestly it was a complete shitshow. Way too aggressive. This isn’t a “water fight,” and it’s definitely not a war. It’s supposed to be fun, but people have completely lost the point.
Way too many foreigners acting like idiots, blasting water straight into people’s eyes and ears, no awareness, no respect. It’s out of control.
Something needs to change. The government should step in.
And yeah, good to see some of the worst ones getting arrested. Deserved.
