The classic Thai combination of spicy Papaya Salad, Grilled Chicken, and sticky rice is amazing, there’s a reason its eaten by millions daily here in Thailand… but today we can try to make it even better!! Why not add to this trio another six or seven of northern Thailand’s excellent seasonal choices, and have them for lunch with your favorite person in the world?
Tam Mua Mae Jo completely blows me away today with its powerful flavors and its unique recipe selections. I can say that both Li and I are very impressed, and we are now so happy to share this video adventure to Mae Jo together with you!
As you hear me say from the beginning, this was just after joining the “Run For Relief,” an annual awareness event including a 5k fun run, bringing the current situation of civil war in our neighboring country of Myanmar into a place of hope, of prayer, and of as much love as we can gather (the turnout this year was almost 1,000 people!) – and the nearby Mae Jo restaurant “Tam Mua” was a great place to have a little post-event lunch.
Thank you for hanging out with us!! See you for one more Northern Thai meal together before we start the next international adventure (China!).
