Chiang Mai’s WORST Neighbourhood: Don’t Come Here! 🇹🇭

In this video we go to the forgotten and neglected areas of Chiang Mai. This is the 2nd largest city in Thailand but for more reason than one, its has experienced an influx of abandoned dero dwellings.

  2. Why u say its dangerous and why not go there??? Every second tourist arrive in this bus station😂 there is abanden buildings everywhere in the world and teenagers will go smoke there and make some graffiti.

  3. You only showed the smallest bit of the street. Yes there is about 3 abandoned buildings but the rest of the neighbourhood is really nice. There are some of the biggest buildings and shopping centers around here. There are also some lovely parks around here aswell. I mean the 50 square meters where the abandoned buildings are are not nice but the rest of it is good so why did you say its dangerous. Im white and walk around at night here all the time. Its safe as bro

I wished the local municipal authorities see this VDO clip so that they might have been awaken from their office-ridden slumbering.

  5. Agree with you Marco , go of the beaten track move around like a local and interacting like you do is the way to travel anywhere, tourism is just that, tourist traps , rip offs , not genuine, not original history etc chow Thks mate

  6. I bet if you offered them 3 guys 5 dollars to tell you a story about that building the all would've talked for an hour! That VW van would be a fortune here they go for big bucks just the way it sits. Prices restored are insane! I agree the old ma and pa diners are way cool, I love them. They're a dying breed anymore to the big box restaurant's and yer, they will be gone one day. Sadly.

  7. It's sad but there's a lot of deserted buildings all around Thailand; broken dreams, bad planning, money laundering, disasters like fires. Yeah "dude" some one lives there, you're walking into their house after saying "I hope I don't get shot!" because THAT is how you get shot. The bus stop isn't great but, it's not so bad either. No, that wasn't a "skate rink" it was an arcade. I'd say (after living in Chiang Mai for about 15 years) the worst part is around Siping Muang road, a lot of violence and craziness in the all Thai bars.

  8. When I was finishing college after my military time, I was in a dorm and there was a pay phone in the hall. My friend would call home every week. ( no cell phones yet – this was 53 years ago ). He borrowed my small tape recorder to copy the sound of the coins going in the slots and the sound they make as they fall into the phone. Next phone call when the operator tells him how much – always the same for this call, he would push play and the operator would hear the coins dropping in. You know when I commit about things I did or where I was 50 – 60 years ago, I really start to feel old. Has it really been that long ago and am I really this old? Never would I have had the courage to take off and travel like you are doing. You are really lucky. 😁

  10. 📸 Love the new cam …AND love abandoned buildings ! today I almost got dizzy when you swung the cam around outside the abandoned hotel , where nature took over again ——- THAT kind of viewing was almost 3D like for a moment …….. congrats on this new purchase …greetings from Newtown NSW 🇦🇺

  11. Watching you eat your chicken & rice, fork & spoon. Mix with the fork, eat with the spoon – typical Filipino way to eat. You can always tell an American – usually – I eat with the fork and seldom use the spoon unless there is soup.
