Our adventure continues as we visit a scenic riverside café, where the gentle flow of the river and the sounds of the forest create a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a moment of reflection. Despite the rain, we embark on a hike to a nearby waterfall, the journey through the jungle adding to the excitement and beauty of the experience. The hike is filled with rich sights and sounds, as the rain enhances the vibrancy of the forest and the waterfall itself gushes with energy.

On the journey back, things take an unexpected turn as we encounter landslides and flooding on the mountain roads. Hate to be a party pooper, but the large flying insects crawling on your juice glasses are hornets; they are all over SE Asia. "Vespa affinis has gained notoriety in Indonesia for its aggressive behavior and powerful sting, which has a potential for causing a life-threatening anaphylaxis. In 2018, it is reported that seven people died from V. affinis stings." Love the tree house and location but definitely need to stay in a more urban area with AC and windows shut.

I'm in the suburbs of Chiang Mai, it's a Cool place as it has a bit of a rural feel to it, some streets have wild plots of land and at night the sound of the crickets and frogs is super loud but quite nice aswell, on a scooter I can get into the city in 10 minutes. I know a guy rents them for 2,300 Baht for a month, mine broke down one day and when I messaged him he came out and replaced within 20 minutes can't ask more then that quicker then the AA haha

What an adventure, wouldn't have been as exciting without the mud slide………..
Even though you could have push the bike over the mud if you'd used some plant debris……..Excellent excuse to stay until it's cleared. I'd stay for at least a week during the rain. Wundabar .🌳
