love the king, The food, The people
Well done!
Chiang Mai is also very 'smoky' for 6 weeks….and during the'rainy' season parts are flooded….NO ?
Yeah, mainly agree, just the permanent traffic and traffic noise and a severe burning season as well of times of very uncomfortable heat will lower the overall hype..
Great video, love seeing you walking around our favorite part of ChM, Airport Fest.Plaza our "escape" from heat and Rimping. So eager to come again!! Soon 1.11 we are off to ChiangMai, love it!! Thanks again!
I think you should show people the temple massage places they are soo relaxing.
It rains half of the year, the weather is only good for a few weeks before the pollution starts up again and then temperatures sour to Dubai levels during April.
Thumbs up π Jonβ¦β¦Iβm still sticking to Phuket as I have to live by the beach ποΈ
No ocean, no nice beach, no breeze, no thanks! On the flip side why CM sucks: you get scorching daytime temperatures, little to no breeze, crazy traffic along with poor public transportation, horrible air quality for MONTHS, and to make matters worse a fast growing Chinese and Russian migration moving IN…ain't it special, lovely neighbors, ehh?
im thai but not local to chiang mai, airport central is always my go to. though i live far closer to central festival.
yeah but the fact it literally has the worst air quality in the world at times during the year kind of negates everything else (if you are wanting it to be your full time base)
Moles??? Ohhh.. Malls
Hey Jon cool place for sure π
Good vid. What I find strange about CNX connectivity is why you have to route through BK for so many short flights, like Siem Reap, Udon Thani, etc. Makes no sense.
Strongly considering moving to CM, only issue is the burning season, how to manage that situation
Hey Jon, can you take us to a football match?
its super boring, hot most of the year, very bad traffic planning as you cant cross the roads properly, and phlegmatic locals. the "expat" may like it tho. you're definitely one.
thanks for creating and sharing
I am sold! Will be submitting Long-Term Visa application. Once approved, selling everything and moving to beautiful Chiang Mai.
Having lived in Chiang mai for 10 years up to 2019 , i agree with all your points .The main downside to CM is being far from any beach .Even that is cancelled out by the availability of cheap flights to the South .
Love this video Jon.
