  1. Excellent video… I live in Suthep and these are some of the best images I've seen of the spaces and vibe around here… hope you don't mind if I share this as a resource to share on my local guesthouse website? 🙏

  2. The red taxi is called "songthaew", a public minivan system common in Southeast Asia with a different name, from Thailand and its neighbors to Indonesia further south (it's called "angkot" here).

Anw, I love your way of exploring. You mix everything in one like I do, from temples, city streets, cafe hopping, to shopping.

  3. This is one of the most beautiful visits to Chiang Mai I have ever seen. We were there a few times starting in 1998 and it is amazing how much it has changed… even the silo (bus/taxi) had new seat covers ! Thank you so much for your excellent videography and commentaries. I look forward to watching your other productions.

  4. What a lovely and gentle Vlog. . Super presentation and photography. I think you got everything spot on. The best travel video i have seen for a long time. Your talent really shows here. . . I cant wait to follow in your footsteps when i return to Thailand next year. Thank you so much!

  5. Best vlog, the visuals are amazing, making Chiang Mai even more beautiful by 300%. I’m Thai and I really love Chiang Mai. I visit every year, once a year. If you visit during November, December, or January, the weather in Chiang Mai is quite chilly. The northern region of Thailand has its own unique culture and traditional food. Chiang Mai also has excellent coffee and beautiful cafes. If you like Chiang Mai, next time I advise you to visit other northern cities like Chiang Rai, Lampang, and Nan. Enjoy! ✨✨✨
(However, if you're planning to visit again, make sure to check the air quality. During the summer, the northern region can have issues with air pollution and haze due to the burning season)
